KKTC AL SAT — Privacy and Personal Data Notice

This notice explains personal data use in the listing and account services at kktcalsat.com. Send privacy or listing correction requests to [email protected] or use the Contact page.

1. What information is collected?

  • Registration collects first name, surname, username, email, phone and password, with records of email verification and sign-in. If you choose Google sign-in, information shared by your Google account may include name, email and profile image.
  • Listings include title, description, price, category, location and uploaded photos or videos. Information submitted in profile, contact, message, offer, support and complaint forms is used for the relevant service.
  • Business account applications include company and representative details and requested verification documents. These documents are not public listing content; access is restricted to the applicant and authorised administrators.
  • Operation and security may involve cookies, IP address, browser/device information and activity logs. Listing performance includes views and contact interactions. Clicking a phone or message button does not prove that a conversation or sale took place.

2. Purposes and processing conditions

Processing needed for accounts, sign-in, listing publication, communication and application review serves the delivery of those services. Security, abuse prevention and legal requests are assessed under the processing conditions allowed by applicable law. Optional listing promotion is a separate choice and is not required to register or publish a listing. Reading this notice or using the site does not by itself give explicit consent.

3. Public information and recipients

Published listing content, location and publicly displayed profile/contact details are visible to visitors and may be indexed by search engines. Account privacy settings let you shorten your surname and hide phone/WhatsApp numbers on listing pages. You must separately edit details you put in listing text or images.

Providers of hosting, email delivery, sign-in/verification, security and measurement may process data for their roles. Google sign-in, Google measurement tools and external contact/sharing services you choose may receive data within their services. Messages and offers go to their recipient, administration records to authorised site staff, and legally required information to competent authorities. Overseas providers or publication channels may involve cross-border processing; applicable transfer requirements must be met separately.

4. Cookies and measurement

Session, security and preference functions use cookies or similar browser storage. Active Google/Site Kit measurement tools may process page/listing interactions and browser/device data; these data are not all anonymous. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking necessary cookies can affect sign-in and other functions. The listing promotion setting does not give permission for analytics or advertising cookies.

5. Retention and security

Data should be kept only as long as needed for the service purpose and applicable legal duties. Deletion or anonymisation requests are assessed against the relevant records, backups and legal retention duties. Access controls and technical/organisational security measures apply; no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Access, correction and requests

You can view and correct account/listing details in your dashboard and remove a listing from publication. Send personal data access, correction, deletion, objection or permission withdrawal requests to [email protected]. Requests are assessed under applicable law with information needed to verify your identity and the scope of the request. Do not send unnecessary identity or sensitive information. Your rights to approach the competent data protection authority and other statutory rights remain.

7. Use of listings in promotions

Optional promotions start off. If you personally select and save “My listings may be used in KKTC AL SAT promotions” in account settings, your published listing text, price, location, photos and videos may be used in site promotions, KKTC AL SAT social media accounts, email promotions and ads. Content may be cropped, resized and combined for that purpose; promotions may be prepared automatically or selected by the team. A surname or phone you hide is not added; take care with information you include in text or images yourself.

The earlier default-on setting does not count as new permission. Turn the option off and save to withdraw permission; your listings stop being eligible for new promotions. Contact us to request removal of an earlier promotion; copies held by third parties cannot be fully controlled. Normal listing publication and sharing you initiate are separate from this optional promotion choice. Listing performance records are not included in public share cards.

8. Changes and applicable law

This notice is updated when services or law change; any permission needed for a new optional use is requested separately. Personal data processing in Northern Cyprus is assessed under Law 89/2007 on the Protection of Personal Data and related rules. Other countries' rules depend on the operator and the processing circumstances; this notice is not a compliance or transfer authorisation certificate.
